Todays Thanksgiving Day, and we'll have a treat
for there are so many yummy things to eat.
Tom Turkeys on the table, just waiting to be carved,
I hope my Greg soon hurries for GOODNESS sakes I'm starved.
I like the cranberries, the pies and all the rest. . .
but most of all the dinner I like the turkey best!!
I hope I won't be sorry for eating till I break,
cause I don't want a visit from Mr. Tummyache!!
I learned this song when I was in the 4th grade and have never forgotten it. I have to sing it to my kids every year. Happy Thanksgiving to all. I am very thankful for a wonderful family, great neighbors, good friends and the wonderful place I get to live.

I am so proud of you by the way for going shopping almost a week before thanksgiving. i am totally one of the little shoppers that runs to the store the night before looking for heavy whipping cream and find empty shelves. way to be!
