California

Tasha and I spent the weekend in California. Her soccer team played in a tournament there. We flew in to Orange County and drove to Temecula. I got to chaperone, which ultimately means NO sleep and 15 crazy, loud, hilarious, moody, tired, hyper, boy crazy, music blasting, hungry, sweaty 17 year old girls. Needless to say we always have a blast but it isn't what I would ever say is a vacation.

Anyway Friday nights game we FROZE! It was so windy and cold I thought I was still in Utah. But Saturday the sun was out and it was beautiful. They also won both games that day which was awesome. Sunday morning they played at 8 am and it was cold then. So at least we had one day of sun. They ended up winning 3 out of 4 games against some great California teams. All in all it was a great time, but I am glad to be home to taking care of only 2 crazy teenagers. I need a nap!!

Yeah for Tasha and for you! You are making wonderful memories, and after some rest I am sure that you will be glad you went.
