The Johnson Family

I am absolutely heartbroken for a dear family in our ward in Highland. They were traveling down south for Spring break and got in a car crash. 2 of their sweet daughters were killed. Alexis was Tasha's age and Amanda was Cayden's age.

Joel and Nikky are 2 of the kindest, most genuinely good people I have ever met. They care about others, serve valiantly, adore their family, and are always happy and upbeat. My heart just aches for them and their family.

Thankfully the rest of the family is ok. Nikky has some serious injuries as well, but will be ok physically. I just can't imagine what they must be going through.

Today I'm grateful for the Plan of Salvation and the knowledge I have that "Families are Forever". I wish I could just take a little of their pain for them. All I can do is pray and hold my kids tight.

Oh Sharon! This is so, so tragic. I am once again quickly reminded just how unfair life can seem. Joel, Nikky and their family as well as yours are in our thoughts and prayers. I love you!

How sad, our prayers are with the family. So thankful for the gospel, so we can know that we will see our loved ones again.
