Greg's Trip

Greg got the fun opportunity to go to Australia for work. He got home Tuesday after being gone for a long 10 days. Needless to say everything fell apart while he was gone. Only a couple days after he left the internet quit working, and also the tv in the familyroom. He tried to troubleshoot from Australia and Cayden worked on it from this end, to no avail.

I think none of us realized how much we "Need" the internet till we didn't have it for a week. No facebook, blogging, googling, powerschool, etc etc. Well it took Greg about 5 minutes to figure out that a circuit tripped downstairs that had both the internet and tv on it. But it wasn't the normal circuit in the circuit box, no this was a weird one that he wired when he hooked up all this funky technical stuff. Anyway it is all fixed now.

Back to Greg's trip. He got to go to Sydney for a couple of days and then flew to Melbourne and worked there for a couple of days. It sounds like the business end of things went great and he didn't have to work much at all. Then he spent 4 days staying with his nephew Travis, who lives in Melbourne. That was the fun part. Travis was great and took him all over doing the touristy thing. It was great for Greg to be able to spend some time relaxing and having fun. I wish I could have gone, but I just didn't feel like I should go this time. Maybe next!! I'm just glad he's home!!!
