So as by my last post you can see that I am very sad my kids are growing up. We did get some great news last night and I am pretty excited about it. Tasha will be staying close to home for college!! Wahoo. She is going to play soccer for Westminster.
We toured the campus last spring and Tasha fell in love!! It is such an awesome campus and has a super reputation for their academics. We also met with their soccer coach and really liked him too. That has been her top choice ever since.
Thankfully she has awesome grades and did good on the ACT and so here we are.
We headed up to Westminster last night to meet with Tony LeBlanc, the Westminster Womens Soccer coach, and she signed a letter of intent to play soccer for them next fall. Their soccer program is pretty young, but it seems to be a perfect fit for Tasha and she should get some playing time.
She will be able to either live at home or live with my sister Kim and her husband Chris who live close to the campus. (Thanks guys)
I gotta say I am pretty relieved she is staying close to home. Plus we will be able to watch her play. Way to go Tasha, I am pretty excited for you!!!

That is so great! Way to go Tasha. Westminster is such a great school. That is so cool! I can't believe she is old enough to graduate already. She was a little 12 year old when we moved in.
